****UPDATE****
Out of an abundance of caution, the Aging in the Right Place Forum will be a recorded only event. The video will be available on LCTV and through their YouTube channel.
Spectrum Generations’ Lincoln County Regional Center, in partnership with Inn Along the Way, is hosting Aging in the Right Place Forum on September 15, 2022, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Inn Along the Way (741 Main Street) in Damariscotta. This year’s forum will focus on, The Speedbumps of Aging: How Do We Welcome the Transitions of Life, and will address the difficulties we encounter during the various transitions of aging and how to cope with the change of life. There will be no fee for attendees.
The Inn Along the Way, is an organization that is focused on making it possible for elders to age in place, allowing them to stay in their local community. The Inn, when completed, will have cottages for short-term stays for caregivers who need to renew their energy, as well as cottages for people seeking a peaceful place to live and enjoy the end of their life.
