At Spectrum Generations, it is a part of our mission to always provide solutions to help each and every one of our clients improve their quality of life; this includes ensuring people have access to the necessary documents to ensure they receive the best quality of care when they can no longer advocate for themselves.
What is Respecting Choices®?
Respecting Choices® is an internationally recognized and evidence-based process that walks an individual through the steps necessary to make an educated decision on how they want their Advance Directives filled out.
How Does this Work?
Our staff is comprised of certified Respecting Choices® Instructors and Facilitators who will have a thoughtful discussion with you, in order to help you determine what is best for your unique situation. It can be stressful to think about unexpected catastrophic events, but they happen every day, and our staff can help make sure you are prepared.
- Help you identify what a good quality of life means to you.
- Assist you in identifying who your health care agent could be.
- Guide you through navigating difficult conversations regarding your desired end of life care.
- Help you fill out your Advance Directives, and determine who should have a copy.
Who Is this For?
Advances Directives are not only for the elderly, or those with chronic illnesses. Advance Directives are for those who are 18 years and older. It is recommended that each person review their Advance Directives on an annual basis, because everyone’s own life experiences will shape what a good quality of life means to them.
